PFAFF admire™ air 7000
A household overlocker that also works as a coverstitch machine. The loopers are threaded by air flow, and 26 stitches let you sew knits and other fabrics.
The PFAFF admire™ air 7000 sews with 2, 3, 4 or 5 threads: overlock, chain and coverstitch stitches. The shaft runs on bearings and the lighting is bright LED.
Stitch length, stitch width, presser foot pressure and differential feed can be quickly adjusted to suit the fabric. An extension table and a roomy waste bin are included.
Features
Large work space and extension table
The work space is 64 mm high and 123 mm wide, so larger projects are easy to sew too. An extension table is included.
Automatic thread tension
The thread tension settings are set automatically, so you need to adjust the tension much less often.
26 stitches, 2–5 threads
The machine sews 4-thread knit seams, wide 3-thread stitches, narrow rolled (babylock-type) hems, chain stitches and many other stitches for knits. There is also a flatlock imitation for decoration.
You can sew with 5, 4, 3 or 2 threads and convert the machine into a coverstitch machine for knits. Thread tension is set with precise dials.
Air threading
The loopers are threaded at the press of the air flow button. No confusing diagrams or tweezers, so the overlocker can be ready to sew in seconds.
Thread cutter and presser foot pressure adjustment
The built-in thread cutter lets you finish quickly.
When sewing very thin or very thick fabrics, the presser foot pressure can be adjusted. The control has 7 positions.
Waste bin
The included waste bin attaches firmly to the body, so trimmings are collected in it and the workspace stays clean.
Information panel and accessory holders
Under the front panel there is a quick reference for stitches and settings. The screen stylus and tweezers are kept in dedicated holders.
Knee lifter
The presser foot can be raised without using your hands, so they stay free to handle the fabric.
Presser foot lever on the right
The presser foot lever is on the right side of the machine rather than at the back, so you do not need to look for it.
Settings on the screen
Changing the stitch width or switching from standard stitches to narrow rolled (babylock-type) hems is quick – the settings are clearly shown on a large colour touch screen.
Multi-zone LED lighting
Bright multi-zone LED lighting illuminates the work area well.
Removable free arm
With the platform removed, hard-to-reach areas are easier to sew: sleeves, trouser hems, children's clothes.
