RevolutionAir™ Needle Threading
The new patented Revolution AirThreading System™ threads even the needle eyes. Unbelievable, but it works with perfect precision and great reliability. All you need to do is lower a special thread catcher and press the air button. The thread simply flies through the needle eye as if by magic, and you don't need to thread it at all. Best of all, this works for as many as five different needles.
RevolutionAir™ Looper Threading
Insert the end of the thread into one of the channel ports and press the button. The perfect patented Revolution AirThreading System™ instantly carries the thread through the whole tube to where it needs to be. The loopers are threaded by a jet of compressed air – no more tweezers, no threading sequence, no complicated threading diagrams or colour-coded markings – just press the button and the thread threads itself. Threading is so simple and convenient that you will want to do it even when you don't need to.
Very large work surface
The largest work surface ever created on this type of machine. From now on, sewing knitwear seams will be even more comfortable. You can give free rein to your imagination and sew anything you like. The work area is so large that you can comfortably sew even very large items. The distance from the needles to the machine body is as much as 12.7 cm.
Automatic Thread Delivery (ATD)
To this day no one has managed to copy this brilliant system. The unique patented automatic thread tension system Automatic Thread Delivery System™ – you will no longer have to struggle with turning tension dials in search of the best result. Simply select the sewing operation you want with the dial and sew any type of fabric – it makes no difference whether you are sewing one, two or several layers at once, because the machine does everything itself, "sensing" the fabric thickness with a special system of sensors.
Pure Lighting – six LED lamps
Excellent lighting from six very bright new-generation LED lamps placed around the work area illuminates the entire work area perfectly. That means less eye strain, safe and comfortable work and economical power consumption. Whenever you use the machine – day, evening or night – you will always feel comfortable and safe.
Variable Speed Control – speed control system
An additional speed control lever makes your work even more comfortable. The machine will do everything even more precisely and better when you choose the sewing speed you want. You can even sew one stitch at a time. You will sew all your seams with pinpoint precision. Simply set the speed slider to the position you want and sew the way you like. No more stress or annoying "jumps" when you start sewing.
Additional knee lifter
To keep your hands free, you can also raise the presser foot with an additional knee lifter, just like on industrial sewing machines.
Convenient Presser Foot Lever – presser foot lifter
No more searching for the presser foot lifter. It is now in an even more convenient place and always close at hand. Simply push it up and the foot will rise.
Chain needle thread guide
The coverstitch thread guide ensures even and precise thread delivery to the needles. This is very important, because thread tension is set very precisely and seams come out perfect.
Sewing bed with 4 attachment mounting points
The sewing bed has four mounting points for additional attachments so that any operation turns out perfectly. Buy optional attachments and expand your sewing possibilities as far as your imagination goes.
Steel tube loopers
No threading diagrams, sequences or other complicated and confusing systems. Baby Lock loopers are made of top-quality steel tubes through which the threads travel by air jet and always end up exactly where they should.
Differential Feed
Baby Lock has taken differential feed to a whole new level. Unlike other machines, the feed dog system is a single casting, which ensures more consistent fabric feed.
Presser foot lift height increased to 6 mm.
On the Baby Lock Gloria you can raise the presser foot as high as 6.0 mm. Such a high presser foot lift lets you sew any items without problems, which is especially important when sewing thick items.
2-thread converter built into the looper
Unlike on most machines, the 2-thread converter is built into the looper and can be engaged very quickly, whereas other overlockers require a special adapter that is hard to attach and easy to lose.

Safety systems
When the presser foot is raised or the front or side cover is open, the machine is locked, and even if you accidentally press the foot pedal it will not run. This way you will always feel safe and confident, because both you and the machine are protected against unexpected situations.
Vertical needle bar system
An exclusive feature of BABY LOCK overlockers is the vertical needle system, designed to ensure stable fabric penetration and prevent the needles from deflecting, which very often happens with overlockers from all other manufacturers. As a result, needles break or bend when they hit the loopers or, worst of all, break the loopers themselves.It no longer matters what fabrics you sew – thick or thin, knit or silk, chiffon or denim, one or even six layers of fabric – the machine "senses" everything itself and sets the thread tension without your help. Cover Stitch Chaining Off – patented thread chaining system for sewing without fabric
