The computerised ELNA eXcellence 720PRO sewing machine has a metal body and an upper fabric feed system. It is designed for professional work at home: quilting, decorative sewing, and sewing leather and other heavy materials.
Its sewing speed reaches up to 1200 stitches/min, so in speed and construction it comes close to an industrial machine, while offering a far greater choice of operations: 404 in total, including decorative and quilting stitches, alphabets and 7 types of automatic buttonholes.
The original ELNA upper fabric feed system helps you sew evenly, whether it is slippery silk or thick multi-layer denim. The zigzag width is up to 9 mm, so decorative stitches and buttonholes can be wide. Stitches and settings you create can be saved in the machine's memory.
Features
Needle plate changed without screws
A patented needle plate change system: press the lever, the plate is released, and you simply press the new one back into place.
The standard plate can be replaced with a straight stitch plate. With it, straight stitches on various fabrics come out at the same quality as on an industrial machine.
Knee lifter
As on industrial machines, the presser foot can be raised with a knee lever. Your hands stay free, and the foot rises higher and more easily.
Increased presser foot lift height
The presser foot lifts very high, so even the thickest work fits under it.
Upper fabric feed system
The original ELNA system also feeds the fabric from above. Thin slippery silk does not shift, and thick multi-layer denim feeds through evenly.
Informative LCD screen
The clear screen shows the selected operation, stitch length and width, the recommended presser foot and other information. Decorative stitches and settings you create can be saved.
Large work area and extension table
The work area is 255 mm long, and the distance from the platform to the upper part of the body is 120 mm. This makes it comfortable to sew curtains or large bedspreads.
An extension table is included to enlarge the work area even further.
Built-in thread stand for large spools
The body has a built-in thread stand that takes spools of any size – both domestic and large industrial ones.
