SINGER ME457 Elite
An electromechanical SINGER Elite series sewing machine with a sturdy metal body. Suitable for everyday sewing, clothing repairs and fabrics of various thicknesses.
The ME457 belongs to the SINGER Elite series; machines in this series carry the Elite logo. The machine has 34 sewing operations: basic utility stitches, decorative stitches, automatic buttonholes, and free-motion embroidery and quilting operations.
All settings are made with rotary dials, and their markings are clear and informative.

Reverse and tie-off
Press the lever to secure the seam quickly and accurately or to sew in reverse.
Adjustable presser foot pressure
Use the built-in regulator to set how firmly the presser foot presses on the fabric. This lets you sew fabrics of various thicknesses, from very fine to thick and heavy.
Drop feed
The feed dogs can be dropped for free-motion embroidery, quilting or sewing on buttons.
Reinforced horizontal hook
The full-rotary reinforced horizontal hook lets you sew a range of fabrics, from the finest to the thickest.
Automatic one-step buttonhole
With the special foot, the buttonhole is sewn automatically in one step, and all buttonholes come out the same size.
LED lighting
Bright LED lighting illuminates the work area well, making sewing comfortable and safe.
Elite logo
The Elite badge on a metal strip marks higher-end SINGER sewing machines.
Sturdy metal body
