2, 3 and 4-thread seams

You can sew with two, three or four threads. Besides standard seams, the overlocker sews a narrow cord-like decorative rolled hem (babylock) and imitation Flatlock, and can also sew with the edge-trimming knife disengaged.

Easy set-up

A colour-coded threading diagram helps you thread quickly and correctly. You will find it inside the front cover. How to use the machine is shown step by step in a DVD video tutorial.

Removable free arm

With the free arm removed, the work surface narrows like a sleeve. You can slip a sleeve, a child's garment or a trouser leg over it and comfortably finish hard-to-reach areas.

Differential feed

Adjustable feed lets you sew a variety of fabrics – from stretch to stable ones such as denim. Seam quality depends on the fabric, so being able to adjust the feed helps you find the best setting.

The adjustment range is from 0.2 to 0.7. Increase the feed when sewing stretch fabrics and reduce it for lightweight ones.

Presser foot pressure, stitch length and seam width

Presser foot pressure, stitch length and seam width are easy to adapt to the fabric. With the left needle, the seam width adjusts from 5.2 to 6.7 mm, with the right needle from 3.0 to 4.5 mm. Narrow babylock hem – up to 1.5 mm.

Stitch length adjusts from 1 to 4 mm.

A heavy, sturdy metal frame is a hallmark of the SINGER Heavy Duty series. It gives the machine stability and durability.

Other features

Sewing speed up to 1300 stitches/min. When sewing thicker items, the presser foot can be raised higher, and switching to narrow seam mode is quick and easy.
