SINGER C5655
A computerised household sewing machine with 80 stitches, 180 stitch applications, an LCD screen and a built-in needle threader. The extension table and 8 presser feet are included.
The SINGER C5655 suits everyday sewing, decorating and quilting. When you select a stitch, the machine sets a suitable length and width for you. You can change them and see the settings on the LCD screen.
Buttonholes are sewn in one step. You can choose from 6 styles or sew a buttonhole of the size you want. Remove the cover to open up the free arm, and use the extension table for larger projects.
Main features
LCD screen and 80 stitches
The stitch chart is printed on the body, and you see the stitch length and width on the screen.
Reverse and tie-off
The reverse button is on the front of the machine.
A separate button ties off the stitch.
Built-in needle threader
The threader helps you thread the needle.
One-step buttonholes
- 2 basic buttonholes for dresses, T-shirts or home decor.
- 2 buttonholes with round ends and 2 keyhole buttonholes for men's clothing and coats.
- You can also sew a buttonhole of the size you want.
180 stitch applications
- The 80 built-in stitches cover basic sewing, decorating and quilting.
- When you select a stitch, a suitable length and width are set automatically.
Adjustable settings
- You can change the stitch length, stitch width and needle position to suit the job.
- There are 13 needle positions.
Free arm
- With the cover removed, tubular items such as hems and sleeves are easy to sew.
Extension table
- The table enlarges the sewing surface, so larger projects are easier to manage.
8 presser feet included
- All-purpose, zipper, buttonhole, blind hem, button sewing, roller, invisible zipper and overcasting feet.
Extra presser foot lift
- The presser foot can be raised higher than usual.
Front-loading bobbin
- The machine uses Class 15 metal bobbins. 4 are included.
