SINGER Heavy Duty 14HD854
A household SINGER Heavy Duty series overlocker with a sturdy construction. It sews with 2, 3 or 4 threads, has 15 stitches and suits many types of fabric.
The overlocker is easy to operate, and a colour-coded diagram helps with threading. Differential feed, a removable free arm platform and a disengageable knife let you work with both stretch and stable fabrics.
Like other Heavy Duty series machines, the 14HD854 has a sturdy metal frame. Sewing speed is up to 1300 stitches/min.

Features
15 stitches with 2, 3 or 4 threads
Besides standard overlock stitches, there is a narrow rolled (Babylock) decorative stitch, an imitation flatlock (FlatLock) stitch, sewing with the edge-trimming knife disengaged, and more.
Easy set-up
A colour-coded threading diagram is found behind the front cover. A DVD video guide is also included, showing step by step how to use the overlocker.
Removable free arm platform
With the platform removed, the bed narrows like a sleeve. Slip the item over it to sew sleeves, children's clothes or trouser legs with ease.
Differential feed
Adjustable feed lets you sew both stretch and stable fabrics, such as denim, neatly. The adjustment range is 0.2 to 0.7. Increase the ratio for stretch fabrics and reduce it for light fabrics.
Adjustable presser foot pressure, stitch length and stitch width
You set the presser foot pressure, stitch length and stitch width to suit the fabric. Stitch width is 5.2 to 6.7 mm with the left needle, 3.0 to 4.5 mm with the right needle, and up to 1.5 mm with the narrow Babylock stitch. Stitch length is 1 to 4 mm.
