IDT™ fabric feed system

Built-in IDT™ (Integrated Dual Transporter) upper fabric feed system. It was developed by PFAFF® engineers in Germany 45 years ago, and its principle has not changed since.

The upper feed works in sync with the lower feed dogs, so the fabric layers move evenly and do not shift.

How IDT™ works

A special feed system additionally pulls the fabric from above, so lightweight, heavy and slippery fabrics are all sewn evenly.

Well-thought-out ergonomics: the controls are clearly and conveniently arranged.

PFAFF® creative™ colour touch screen

The clear, high-resolution screen shows stitches at actual size and embroidery designs in true colours. You can pan and zoom in and out on screen, and the menu layout is easy to understand.

The Stitch Creator™ function lets you create new stitches up to 9 mm wide or edit the built-in ones.

Quick switch to embroidery

Switching from sewing to embroidery is quick and simple – getting the machine ready for embroidery takes a few minutes.

Built-in designs, fonts and memory

The machine has built-in embroidery designs and fonts. The memory has enough space to save your own combinations and creations.

Editing designs on screen

Several embroidery designs can be combined directly on the machine screen.

Quick-change needle plate and horizontal hook

Enlarged quick-snap needle plate with markings. The horizontal full rotary hook system allows stitches up to 9 mm wide.

20 cm work area and simple controls

The work area to the right of the needle is up to 20 cm. This is convenient for sewing and decorating large items and for free-motion embroidery and quilting.

The control buttons are clearly laid out, and most settings are made on the touch screen.

Bright LED lighting

New-generation LED lights evenly illuminate the work area when sewing and embroidering.

Thread stand for spools of any size

The built-in thread stand fits spools of any size, so industrial thread spools can be used too.
