PFAFF admire™ air 5000
The PFAFF admire™ air 5000 is the first PFAFF overlocker with an air threading system. It sews with 2, 3 or 4 threads, performs 15 stitches and suits a wide range of fabrics.
The loopers are threaded at the push of a lever – the air flow carries the threads where they need to go, without charts or tweezers. An integrated threader helps thread the needles. The machine has a shaft with bearings and bright LED lighting.
Stitch length, stitch width, presser foot pressure and differential feed are adjusted quickly, so the machine is easy to set up for any type of fabric. A large waste collection box helps keep the workspace clean.

Sewing with 4, 3 or 2 threads
The overlocker can sew with 4, 3 or 2 threads. Thread tension is adjusted simply and quickly with precise, specially designed dials, so seams come out neat whatever fabric you sew.
15 stitch types
You can sew 4-thread stretch seams, wide 3-thread seams or fine, narrow rolled hems. The machine also sews a mock flatlock stitch that can be used to decorate items.
Air threading system
This is the first PFAFF overlocker in which the loopers are threaded by pressing the air flow lever. The overlocker can be made ready for work in a few seconds.
Needle threading
The integrated needle threader lets you thread quickly and accurately without tweezers.
Waste collection box
The included box attaches firmly to the machine housing, and trimmings fall straight into it. The workspace stays neat and clean.
Easy adjustment
All dials are clearly laid out and easy to reach. You can quickly change the stitch width or switch from standard seams to fine rolled hems.
Presser foot pressure dial
When sewing very thin or very thick fabrics, the presser foot pressure on the fabric can be adjusted. This is useful when working with a variety of fabrics.
