Direct stitch selection!
The machines in this series have a very simple stitch selection menu. To select the stitch you want, simply press the buttons on the front of the machine. To make it even easier, a very clear chart on the flip-up cover lets you use all the machine's features simply and easily without even opening the manual.
Very large work surface
One of the largest work surfaces on any machine. From now on, sewing will be even more comfortable. You can give free rein to your imagination and sew anything you like. The work area is so large that you can comfortably sew even very large items. With the optional extension table it can be enlarged even further.
Improved fabric feed system!
On JUKI HZL-G series machines, the feed dogs move along the same path as on industrial sewing machines – in a rectangular motion – which results in much better seams. Most other domestic sewing machines use an elliptical feed dog motion. Improved fabric feed mechanism – steel feed dogs and a reinforced presser foot mounting system. The most difficult sewing tasks, such as moving from thin to thick sections when sewing denim or coat fabrics, are done simply and easily. The stitches do not bunch up or skip in thick sections.

Convenient one-touch functions and START&STOP sewing without the foot pedal
On JUKI G series machines, the START&STOP button is conveniently placed and lights up bright green when the presser foot is lowered and the machine is ready to sew, or warning red when the presser foot is raised (which also activates protection against accidental start-up). The START&STOP button is positioned near your thumb while you hold the fabric with your hands, so you do not need to take your eyes off your work and it is very convenient to use.
7-row feed dog system and the most advanced horizontal hook system
JUKI HZL-G sewing machines use the most advanced horizontal hook system with an integrated thread cutter, and a wide 7-row feed dog system ensures even and reliable fabric feed.

Automatic bobbin winding system
JUKI HZL-G series sewing machines have an automatically disengaging bobbin winding system. When enough thread has been wound onto the bobbin, a special mechanism releases the bobbin and stops winding.
High two-stage presser foot lift
An outstanding feature of HZL-G series sewing machines is the very high presser foot lift. This system lets you sew thick items such as coats, denim and more. The presser foot has two lift positions – standard and extra-high.
Automatic thread cutter – only on JUKI HZL-G220 series machines
The JUKI HZL-G220 series sewing machine cuts the threads automatically after sewing, leaving the thread ends on the wrong side of the fabric. On the right side the seam is perfectly finished and you no longer need to trim the threads.
