Horizontal hook

Through the clear window you can always see how much thread is left on the bobbin, and threading the hook is simple. The hook rotates fully rather than oscillating, so the machine does not vibrate even at high speed and runs more quietly.

START/STOP and 7-row feed dogs

With the START/STOP button you can sew without the foot control.

Needle threader

LCD display and speed control

When you select a stitch, the machine automatically sets a suitable stitch length and width and shows all the information about it on the display.

With the needle up/down button you can raise or lower the needle without turning the handwheel.

The speed slider on the body sets the sewing speed regardless of the foot control. With the slider at the lowest setting, the machine will sew slowly however hard you press the foot control. This is handy for detailed work or sewing thick projects, such as denim.

Free-motion embroidery

With the feed dogs lowered using a special lever, you can do free-motion embroidery, quilting or sew on a button.

Stitch balance control

When sewing stretch materials, the feed dog movement can be matched to the fabric so that the seam is even and has the right stretch.
