Direct selection of 20 operations

Buttons for the most frequently used operations are arranged on the front panel of the machine. A guide to the remaining 60 operations is on cards that pull out from the side of the machine.

Operation cards

The letter shown next to each operation tells you which presser foot to use. No need to leaf through the manual.

Two special stitches

Stitch No. 05 is a triple reinforced stitch whose length can be increased up to 4 mm. Stitch No. 11 is a professional overlock stitch.

Horizontal hook

The new-technology horizontal hook allows zigzag and decorative stitches up to 7 mm wide.

Needle plate with quick-start system

There is no need to pull the bobbin thread up before sewing – the design of the plate prepares it for sewing. Distance lines marked on the plate help you sew accurately.

Transparent bobbin cover

The cover shows how to insert the thread into the hook.

Presser foot pressure dial

The pressure can be adjusted for anything from the finest to the thickest fabrics.

Control buttons

START/STOP for sewing without the foot pedal; reverse (locking) button; spot lock stitch, almost invisible on fine fabrics; needle positioning – the needle always stops up or down; speed control slider.

LCD screen

The screen shows the operation number, the recommended stitch length and width and the recommended presser foot.

Next to the screen are the operation, stitch length and width buttons. Another button lets you compress or elongate a decorative stitch. There is also a mirror image function for decorative stitches.

Accessory box in the free arm platform

The removable free arm platform has a built-in box with compartments for accessories and bobbins.

Buttonhole balance adjustment

With the free arm platform removed, the buttonhole balance dial can be reached, so buttonholes come out neat.

Feed dog drop

The feed dogs can be lowered with a lever when you sew on buttons or do free-motion embroidery.
