JANOME ArtDecor 734D
The JANOME ArtDecor 734D is a computerised sewing machine with 60 operations, simple push-button control and a backlit information screen.
The machine is controlled with buttons on the front panel. The screen shows all the information you need about the selected stitch: stitch length and width and the recommended presser foot.
Included are an extension table to enlarge the work area and a hard plastic case for storing and transporting the machine.
Features
Horizontal hook
The clear window always shows how much thread is left on the bobbin, and threading the hook is simple. The hook rotates through a full circle, so the machine does not vibrate even at high speed and runs more quietly.
Fabric feed
The lower feed mechanism with wide, closely spaced feed dogs (7-piece SFS+ feed system) feeds a wide range of fabrics well. A walking foot is also included; it is useful for difficult fabrics, keeping the layers from shifting.
Presser foot pressure is adjustable in 6 steps.
7 types of buttonhole
Place the button in the special buttonhole foot and the machine sews as many buttonholes of the same size as you need.
Automatic thread cutter and stitch lock
A built-in mechanism cuts the thread automatically when you finish sewing. When you press the stitch completion button, the machine keeps sewing until the stitch is finished.
LCD screen
The bright screen shows the selected stitch, stitch length and width and the recommended foot. When you select a stitch, the machine sets the right stitch length and width automatically.
Needle positioning and speed control
A button selects the needle up or down position, so there is no need to turn the handwheel.
The speed slider on the front panel lets you limit the sewing speed regardless of the foot control. This is handy for detailed work or thick items: at the lowest setting the machine sews slowly however hard you press the foot control.
Removable free-arm platform with accessory compartment
With the platform removed, it is easy to sew hard-to-reach areas such as sleeves. The platform has a large compartment for presser feet and accessories, and the needle plate has a thread cutter.
START/STOP, LED lighting and needle threader
The START/STOP button lets you sew without the foot control. LED lights illuminate the work area, and a threading mechanism helps thread the needle.
