Horizontal hook

Through the clear window you can always see how much thread is left on the bobbin, and threading the hook is simple. The hook rotates fully rather than oscillating, so the machine does not vibrate even at high speed and runs more quietly.

SFS+ fabric feed system

Wide, closely spaced 7-row feed dogs feed all types of fabric well. The included even feed attachment is useful for slippery or otherwise awkward materials – the layers do not shift against each other.

Presser foot pressure control

The presser foot pressure can be set in 6 steps so that the fabric moves evenly under the foot.

Automatic buttonholes

Choose from 7 buttonhole types. Place the button in the special buttonhole foot and the machine will sew as many buttonholes of the same size as you need.

Automatic thread cutter

When you finish sewing, the machine trims the threads itself.

Stitch finish button

When sewing a decorative stitch, pressing this button makes the machine sew until the pattern is completed.

LCD display and controls

When you select a stitch, the machine automatically sets a suitable stitch length and width and shows the recommended presser foot on the display.

With the needle up/down button you can raise or lower the needle without turning the handwheel.

The speed slider on the body sets the maximum sewing speed regardless of the foot control. With the slider at the lowest setting, the machine will sew slowly however hard you press the foot control. This is handy for detailed work or sewing thick projects.

Accessory compartment

The removable free arm platform has a handy compartment for storing presser feet and other accessories.

Long free arm

With the accessory compartment removed, a long free arm remains – convenient for sewing sleeves and other hard-to-reach areas.

START/STOP button

You can also sew without the foot control. The foot control is still included as standard.

Needle threader

The built-in threader helps thread the needle quickly.
