JACK C7-4-M03/333 URUS – a high-speed automated four-thread industrial overlocker with thread trimming and artificial intelligence technology.
According to the manufacturer, this is the first overlocker with artificial intelligence technology. The machine recognises the material and adapts to different fabrics, while an improved fabric feed and presser foot pressure control system helps produce a neat seam.
The built-in new-generation servo motor runs very quietly and uses up to 80 % less electricity than older clutch motors. Sewing speed is up to 7000 stitches per minute.
The overlocker can be supplied with a standard or a sunken table. In a sunken table the machine is mounted inside the table so that the needle plate is level with the tabletop.
Three operating modes
- Manual – all work is controlled with the pedal, as usual.
- Semi-automatic – you sew using the pedal, while the machine trims the threads and lifts the presser foot by itself using integrated photo sensors.
- Automatic – the machine works solely from the photo sensor signals, leaving your hands free.
Features
High-speed feed system
The machine tracks changes in fabric position in real time and matches the presser foot pressure to the feed force. This lets you sew a variety of fabrics – thick, thin, stretch and stiff – without slowing down.
Smart presser foot pressure
Pressure is adjusted in real time: changes are checked 32 000 times per second, and pressure is corrected within 0.00006 microseconds.
Smart fabric feed
A torque of 9.2 Nm ensures precise feeding at any shaft position, so the result is always consistent.
Who it is for
According to the manufacturer, the C7 URUS increases work efficiency by more than 10 %. The overlocker is suitable for garment workshops and professional sewists, as well as for sewing at home.
