Husqvarna VIKING DESIGNER TOPAZ™ 40
The Husqvarna VIKING DESIGNER TOPAZ™ 40 is a sewing and embroidery machine with 208 stitches, 100 embroidery designs and a 240 × 150 mm hoop. Designed for those who want not only to sew but also to decorate their projects.
The machine is controlled via a colour touch screen with a PICTOGRAM™ pen. The EXCLUSIVE SEWING ADVISOR® sewing guide makes the settings according to the selected fabric, and the Sensor System™ adapts automatically to the fabric thickness.
Embroidery designs can be combined, resized and rotated, and the result saved in the machine's memory or on a USB stick.

The machine is controlled via a 70 × 53 mm high-resolution colour touch screen. Actions on the screen are made with a special PICTOGRAM™ pen using patented technology.
EXCLUSIVE SEWING ADVISOR® sewing guide
This is a sewing guide developed by Husqvarna VIKING. Once you select the fabric type in the menu, the guide makes the settings itself and shows which presser foot and needle to use.
Basic design positioning
The Basic Design Positioning function helps you join parts of large embroideries precisely.
Patented Sensor System™
The sensor system detects the thickness of the fabric under the foot and adjusts the presser foot height and pressure accordingly. When you press the foot control or the START/STOP button, the presser foot is raised and lowered by a motor – there is no need to lift a lever by hand.
208 stitches and 100 designs
The machine has 208 stitches – utility and decorative – and 100 embroidery designs. You will see the selected design on the screen and can make some edits to it. There are also 4 sewing fonts and 1 embroidery font.
Design editing
Designs can be combined, resized, rotated, converted from multicolour to single colour and more. You can save the result in the machine's memory or on a USB stick.
