The ELNA eXpressive 850 is a new sewing and embroidery machine whose technical specifications are ahead of its time. Expressing your creativity has now become incredibly easy.

The Elna eXpressive 850 has a unique operation – a hand-stitch imitation. Simply select the QUILTING (Q) window and choose stitch 43.
A unique feature – with the Elna eXcellence 850 you can combine plain straight stitches with stretch stitches or decorative stitches. In other words, while sewing a plain seam you can insert the decorative stitches you want into it.
On the machine screen open the DECORATIVE (D) window and choose stitch 2 – French knots. Open the COMBINATION (BR) window and choose stitch 5 or stitch 7.
If you want to sew several similar seams at equal distances from each other, use the special quilting guide accessory.
The Elna eXpressive 860 has a maximum stitch width of 7 mm for zigzag-type stitches and up to 9 mm for decorative stitches! Thanks to increased needle penetration force, the machine easily sews through not only thick items but also 2 mm thick leather. Special leather needles must be used for sewing leather.
With the universal foot A you will easily sew any fabric and avoid problems common on other machines, such as moving from thin to thick fabric. Thanks to the unique foot design, the machine easily sews the finest silk or even 9 layers of denim.
Using the zipper foot you can make beautiful 2 mm piping that will look unique and distinctive.
