Description

The ELNA eXperience 550 is a computerised sewing machine with 50 operations, an LCD screen and a START/STOP function.

A newly designed machine from the ELNA eXperience series with a lightweight aluminium skeleton frame.

It comes with an extension table and a hard plastic case for storing and transporting the machine.

Horizontal hook

Through the clear window you can see how much bobbin thread is left. The bobbin is easy to insert, and the hook rotates fully, so the machine runs quietly and without vibration even at high speed.

SFS+ feed and pressure adjustment

SFS+ feed and pressure adjustment

Wide, closely spaced 7-piece feed dogs feed all kinds of fabrics well. The presser foot pressure can be adjusted in 6 steps.

Stitch completion function

When you press the button, the machine keeps sewing until it finishes the current operation.

Automatic buttonholes

Place the button in the special foot and the machine will sew as many buttonholes of the same size as you need. There are 7 buttonhole styles to choose from.

LCD screen and controls

The screen shows the selected operation, stitch length and width (set automatically by the machine) and the recommended foot.

The needle position button sets the needle in the up or down position without turning the handwheel.

The speed slider on the machine body sets the maximum speed regardless of the pedal, which is handy for precise work or thick items. With the slider at its lowest setting, the machine sews slowly however hard you press the pedal.

Removable extension platform

Accessories are stored in the removable extension platform. The long free arm makes it easy to sew hard-to-reach areas.

START/STOP and needle threader

You can sew without the pedal (a pedal is included). A built-in mechanism helps you thread the needle quickly.
