The ELNA eXcellence 790PRO is a computerised sewing machine with 400 operations. Suitable for home use, small sewing workshops and clothing repair shops.
The machine has 5 alphabets with number combinations and 12 types of buttonholes. The buttonhole quality matches that of dedicated industrial machines.
It sews a wide range of fabrics, from the finest silk to knits, heavy denim, coat fabrics and leather. The machine trims threads automatically.
Features
Two needle plates
The machine has a special needle plate locking design. Two plates are included: one for decorative zigzag stitches and the other for straight stitches, based on the technology of industrial straight-stitch machines.
Direct fabric feed
On most domestic machines the feed dogs move in an ellipse, but on this machine they move at a right angle, as on industrial straight-stitch machines.
This way the fabric does not pucker, slippery fabrics do not shift against each other, and the stitch stays neat on both thin and thick fabrics.
Easy operation selection
The operation is selected with buttons on the front of the machine. A chart on the flip-up cover shows how to use the machine's functions without opening the manual.
Sewing speed up to 1300 stitches/min
This is one of the highest sewing speeds among domestic sewing machines.
Improved fabric feed mechanism
Steel feed dogs and a reinforced presser foot mounting system help when moving from thin to thick sections while sewing denim or coat fabrics. At thick sections the stitch does not bunch up or skip.
AcuFeed Flex Plus top feed
Fabric layers are fed evenly from both above and below, so seams are even and fabrics do not shift.
Convenient functions
The automatic threader threads the needle. The speed control on the body makes it easy to choose a speed to suit the fabric.
There is also automatic thread trimming, automatic presser foot lift, a START & STOP function, needle positioning and an automatic programmable lock stitch.
Stand for industrial thread cones
The machine has a built-in thread stand that can hold large industrial thread cones.
