Description

A computerised sewing machine with automatic thread cutting and a 7-piece feed dog system. Suitable for both thin and difficult fabrics.

The ELNA eXcellence 580+ sews 120 stitches, including an alphabet. Stitches and other settings are selected on the LCD touch panel, and the screen shows the stitch number, stitch length and width, and the recommended presser foot.

The graduated needle plate helps you sew accurately. If needed, it can be replaced with a straight stitch plate with a round needle hole, as on industrial machines, so seams on thin fabrics such as silk or jersey come out smooth.

When you finish sewing, the machine cuts the threads itself, right at the fabric on the wrong side. The 7-piece feed dog system and 7-position presser foot pressure let you sew a very wide range of fabrics. A buttonhole foot with a stabiliser is included, giving neat buttonholes in any fabric.

From the centre needle position there is 210 mm to the right and 120 mm to the left, making it easy to sew large items.

The needle plate has guide lines graduated in centimetres and inches to help you sew at the required distance from the edge.
