DISON TW1-1245V
Industrial lockstitch machine with triple unison feed, a binding attachment and an enlarged horizontal hook. Designed for heavy and very heavy fabrics.
The DISON TW1-1245V sews upholstery fabrics, leather, faux leather, canvas, sailcloth, denim and other materials that need more force to pierce and feed. The moving presser foot and needle feed the fabric evenly, so the seam comes out straight and of high quality.
Thick threads are used for such fabrics, so the enlarged hook lets you work longer without interruptions. The stitch length is up to 8 mm, twice that of ordinary machines, and a longer stitch looks better on heavy items.
The machine is suitable for the furniture industry, car interiors, and the production of tents, sports and leisure goods. Supplied with a table and a 750 W servo motor, it has an improved lubrication system.
Licensed PFAFF equivalent
The machine is made under licence from the German manufacturer PFAFF and is an equivalent of the PFAFF 1245.
Binding mechanism
A special mechanism binds the fabric edge with tape. While sewing, it moves in sync with the feed dogs and the presser foot, so the tape is fed evenly.
