DISON DS-1511N-HL18
DISON DS-1511N-HL18 – an industrial single-needle lockstitch machine with triple fabric feed, an enlarged horizontal hook and an extended bed. Designed for heavy and very heavy fabrics.
The distance from the needle to the inner part of the body is 47 cm and the height inside the machine is 15 cm, so large items fit under the arm.
The machine comes with a table and a special low-speed 800 W servo motor. The presser foot is lifted by a compressed air compressor, which is sold separately.
The machine is made using technology from the Japanese corporation JUKI.
What it is for
The machine sews upholstery fabrics, leather, leatherette, canvas, sailcloth, denim and other materials that need more force to pierce and feed. The walking foot moves together with the needle to feed the fabric steadily, so the seam is of high quality.
Machines like this are used in the furniture industry, for sewing car interiors, and in the manufacture of tents, sports equipment and leisure goods.
Features
Enlarged hook
Thick threads are used when sewing heavy fabrics, so a larger hook lets you work longer without changing the bobbin. This version of the machine can sew even with size 5 thread.
Long stitch
Stitch length is up to 9 mm, twice as long as on ordinary machines. Thick items sewn with a longer stitch look better.
Walking foot height adjustment
With a special regulator, the operator can set the walking height of the feet according to the fabric thickness herself, without a mechanic's help.
