The DISON DS-1511 is an industrial universal lockstitch sewing machine with triple feed and a large horizontal hook. The machine is designed for sewing thick and very thick fabrics such as upholstery fabrics, leather, leatherette, canvas, sailcloth, denim and many others where increased force is needed to penetrate and feed the material. The walking foot and needle feed mechanism ensures stable fabric feed, guaranteeing excellent sewing and high seam quality. Since fairly thick threads are used for these fabrics, the large hook ensures longer uninterrupted work and therefore higher productivity. This type of machine has a very wide range of applications: the furniture industry, car upholstery, tents, sports equipment, leisure goods and many other areas. The machine's stitch length is also twice that of ordinary sewing machines – up to 9 mm – and thick items sewn with a longer stitch look much better. The machine is supplied with a table.
An exclusive feature of the machine is the walking foot height adjustment system with a special adjuster. According to the thickness of the fabrics, the operator can adjust the walking foot lift height without the help of a qualified mechanic to achieve the best possible sewing result. This version of the machine can sew with threads as heavy as No. 5.
