Battistella Argo Blowing (Soffiante)
Battistella Argo Blowing (Soffiante) industrial ironing system for continuous work in garment workshops, ateliers, laundries and hotels.
The system consists of a 107 × 38 cm ironing board with a heated surface whose temperature can be adjusted, with steam extraction and air blowing functions. Included are a heated sleeve ironing platform (62 × 12.5 × 8 cm) connected to the extraction system, a 3-litre steam generator with a stainless steel boiler and a professional 22-chamber Battistella Steam Master iron.
The steam generator is filled automatically from the mains water supply or from a separate 10-litre tank, which is ordered separately. The system is compact and works efficiently throughout the working day.
The system is made in Italy. We provide full warranty and post-warranty service, and all parts are supplied directly from the Battistella factory in Italy.
Features
Electronic control panel
The steam generator panel switches the generator and iron on and off and controls the system functions. It shows which systems are running, and maintenance functions are also started from it.
Battistella Steam Master iron
A professional industrial iron with a heated sole plate of distinctive design. Thanks to its 22 chambers it delivers dry steam even at a low ironing temperature.
Automatic boiler filling
The 3-litre boiler is filled automatically from the mains water supply or from an external 10-litre tank (ordered separately). There is no need to stop work to add water – Argo is designed for continuous work.
For professional use

Teflon sole plate required
For the system to work properly, the professional PTFE Teflon sole plate Battistella 20709 must be used. It protects fabric from shine and scorching, lets the iron glide easily and distributes steam evenly. It also protects the iron's heating plate.
The Teflon sole plate lowers the temperature at the point of contact between the iron and the fabric by about 40 °C. This gives dry, superheated steam even at a fairly low ironing temperature.
