Baby Lock Gloria (BLE-TS8) – a Japanese overlocker and cover stitch machine in one. The loopers and needles are threaded by air, and thread tension is set automatically.
The patented RevolutionAir™ system threads not only the loopers but also the needle eyes. The Automatic Thread Delivery (ATD) system selects the thread tension itself, so there is no need to turn dials – leaving more time for sewing.
The machine is made and assembled in Japan and comes with a 5-year warranty.

Features
Air needle threading (RevolutionAir™ Needle Threading)
The patented Revolution AirThreading System™ threads even the needle eye. You lower a special thread catcher, press the air button – and the thread passes through the needle eye. All five needles can be threaded this way.
Air looper threading (RevolutionAir™ Looper Threading)
Insert the thread end into one of the port openings and press the button – a stream of compressed air carries the thread through the whole tube to where it needs to go. No tweezers, threading order or complicated diagrams needed.
Large work area
The distance from the needles to the machine body is 12.7 cm. This is one of the largest work areas among machines of this type, so even large items are comfortable to sew.
Automatic thread tension (Automatic Thread Delivery, ATD)
The patented Automatic Thread Delivery System™ sets the thread tension itself. You select the sewing operation with a dial and sew any fabric – one, two or several layers. Sensors detect the fabric thickness and the machine adjusts everything itself.
Whether you are sewing thick or thin fabrics, knits or silk, chiffon or denim, one or even six layers – the tension is selected without your help.
Six LED lights (Pure Lighting)
Bright LED lights placed at six points around the work area light up the whole workspace well. Your eyes tire less and little electricity is used – comfortable for working by day, in the evening and at night.
Speed control slider (Variable Speed Control)
You set the desired sewing speed with a slider on the body. You can even sew one stitch at a time, precisely and without sudden jumps when starting to sew.
Vertical needle system
The vertical needle system is a distinctive feature of Baby Lock overlockers (worldwide patent). It ensures stable penetration of the fabric and prevents the needles from bending. Otherwise a bent needle can strike the looper, break or even damage the looper itself.
Steel tube-type loopers
The loopers are made of quality steel tubes through which air carries the threads exactly where they need to go. No threading diagrams or threading order needed.

Knee lifter for the presser foot
The presser foot can be raised with your knee, as on industrial machines – your hands stay free.
Convenient presser foot lever
The lever is in a convenient place – push it up and the presser foot rises.
Cover stitch thread guide
Feeds the threads to the needles evenly and precisely, so the seams are neat.
Extension table with 4 attachment points
Additional accessories can be attached to the sewing table.
Differential feed
The feed dog system is made from a single alloy, so the fabric is fed more evenly.
Presser foot lift up to 6 mm
The high presser foot lift is useful when sewing thick items.
Built-in 2-thread converter
The converter is built into the looper and is quickly engaged – no need to fit a separate adapter.
Narrow cord-type overcast stitch
Turn the stitch density dial to the required position and the machine is ready to sew a narrow decorative seam.
Safety systems
When the presser foot is raised or the front or side cover is open, the machine locks and will not start if the foot control is pressed by accident.
Chaining off without fabric (Cover Stitch Chaining Off)
The cover stitch machine forms a thread chain even when sewing without fabric, so the seam does not unravel.
Accessory box in the thread stand
The thread stand includes a box for storing accessories.
Wave stitch selector
Switch the dial from Overlock to Wave and sew the undulating Wave stitch.
Cover stitch looper tension adjustment
Simply set the regulator to the right position according to the stretchiness of the knit.
Wave stitch
The undulating decorative Wave Stitch is unique to Baby Lock machines – machines from other manufacturers do not have it.
