Air threading (RevolutionAir™ Looper Threading)

Insert the end of the thread into the port and press the button – a stream of air carries the thread through the tube to the looper. No tweezers, threading sequence or complicated diagrams are needed.

Large work area

The distance from the needles to the machine body is 12.7 cm, so large projects are also comfortable to sew.

Automatic Thread Delivery

The patented system sets the thread tension itself. You select the operation with a dial and sew any fabric, whether one layer or several. The machine detects the fabric thickness with sensors.

Pure Lighting – 3 LED lights

Three bright LED lights in different positions illuminate the whole work area. Your eyes tire less, and little electricity is used.

Variable Speed Control

Set the desired sewing speed with the slider – you can even sew one stitch at a time. The machine does not jerk when it starts sewing.

Knee lifter

As on industrial machines, the presser foot can be raised with an additional lever while your hands stay free.

Convenient presser foot lever

The lever is on the right side of the body – push it up and the presser foot rises.

Chain stitch needle thread guide

The guide feeds the thread to the needles evenly and precisely, so the tension is accurate and the seams are smooth.

Additional accessories can be attached to the sewing table to extend what the machine can do.

Steel tube-type looper

The loopers are made of steel tubes through which the air stream carries the threads exactly where they need to go.

Differential feed

The feed dogs are made from a single alloy, so the fabric is fed more evenly.

Presser foot lift up to 6 mm

The high presser foot lift is useful when sewing thick items.

Needle positioning

When the foot control is released, the needles always stop in the up position. Press the button and they go down to the lowest point.

Magnetic needle holder

Spare needles are kept close at hand and do not get lost.

Safety systems

When the presser foot is raised or the front or side cover is open, the machine is locked and will not start, even if the foot control is pressed accidentally.

Vertical needle system

The patented vertical needle system ensures stable penetration of the fabric and protects the needles from bending. This way the needles do not break and do not damage the loopers.

The machine sews thick and thin fabrics – knits, silk, chiffon, denim, from one to six layers – and sets the thread tension itself.

Chaining off without fabric (Cover Stitch Chaining Off)

The patented system braids the threads into a chain even when sewing without fabric. As a result, the seam does not unravel.

Accessory box in the thread stand

As on other Baby Lock models, the thread stand has a built-in box for storing accessories.

Double crank presser foot design

The patented presser foot design was developed specifically for this machine. It is simple and convenient to use.

Precise cover stitch looper tension adjustment

Set the regulator according to the stretch of the knit fabric: in position 1 the thread is tensioned automatically, in position 2 you set the tension yourself.
